California’s growing Holy Fire expanded to over 18,000 acres and was 5 percent contained by the morning of August 10, according to a tweet from the US Forest Service/Cleveland National Forest.
More than 21,000 people were evacuated from as many as 7,500 homes by August 10.
Governor Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency for Riverside and Orange counties on August 9, according to Fox 11.
