At least 22 people died when a section of a motorway bridge in the Italian city of Genoa collapsed during a storm on August 14, Edoardo Rixi, Italy’s deputy transport minister, was quoted as saying.
Italian news agency Ansa reported that a child was among the dead.
This footage was shared by Italy’s national fire service, Vigili del Fuoco, and shows firefighters working through the rubble.
