AT&T Stocks Drop After Department Of Justice Appeals Time Warner Merger

According to a report by Markets Insider, shares of AT&T dropped as much as 2% after the Department of Justice appealed a court’s ruling that cleared the company to buy Time Warner on Thursday. The appeal comes just one month after a court approved the ‘vertical’ merger, which would give AT&T access to Time Warner’s production and content assets including HBO and Warner Brothers’s studios.
