Former Pro Soccer Player Survives Italy Bridge Disaster

A Former Italian soccer professional, Davide Capello, survived the collapse of Morandi Bridge in Genoa, Italy.
Reuters reports that an span of the bridge gave way in busy lunchtime traffic, sending Capello’s car and dozens of other vehicles into a horrifying free-fall which killed at least 39 people.
Capello spoke with reporters from a hospital bed, saying, “I heard an amazing noise.
